smoothies are tasty and healthy.

The food here is healthy and good but the real star here is the smoothies. They are thick and super YUMMY!. The owner told me the secret to em which is to freeze all your fruit and don't need to add ice then. Great smoothies in an awesome location right by the beach.

Tried the chicken salad pita, which came recommended by a couple people. Ate half of it. I don't understand how one can think this is healthy. Think cubes of highly processed lunchmeat with mayo. So rich and salty that I didn't finish it. Not to mention, the texture of the chicken is like rubber. Sampled the yogurt but it doesn't seem to be anything special. Bah....back to Green Room and Surfinista!

Very little food is actually made fresh. Anything more than a salad or sandwich is a frozen microwave box meal (burritos, echiladas, etc.) barely heated up enough to eat. The price charged for these frozen meals is three times what you would pay at the grocery store freezer. The women that run the establishment are rude and condescending when you ask for any flavor frozen yogurt other than chocolate, i.e. vanilla, because they have to go through the trouble of taking the time to "defrost" the froyo enough to make into one of their menu items. Will not be eating here again.

Love this place!

I paid $7 for a small (5" x 2") burrito that obviously wasn't microwaved long enough because the inside was icy and cold. I should have done pizza instead...

Ok, don't get me wrong, the smoothies are really good. But only go here for them, don't come for the food. Had lunch here, got the large 'Earth Salad'. A 6 dollar salad that was primarily iceburg lettuce, a few tomatoes and green peppers sprinkled around, topped off with sprouts and sunflower seeds. The dressing was the highlight, ranch made from yogurt. All served on a Styrofoam plate with plastic forks. Wait... I thought this was a earth friendly joint? What really took things down several notches for me was the black bean enchilada. You know Amy's brand frozen foods? Yeah, so do they, and they serve them, straight out of the microwave, in the frozen food container, atop a Styrofoam plate, to your table. Sure, it's organic... but bleh. If you're not going to cook it yourself, don't serve it in your restaurant. The fro-yo was tasty. No refined sugars and fat free, again served in a not-so-environmentally friendly Styrofoam cup tho. Lastly parking is a bitch, street only if you can find it.

I have been addicted to their chicken salad sandwich now for over 15 years and have driven over 40 miles round trip just to get one for lunch, must get with their home made dressing.
